ABOUT SEAGRAM FARM
We (Ian & Megan Seagram) have been married since we eloped in July of 2012, and have spent much of our adult lives building our first business together, Seagram AV. Entrepreneurship has always been part of our story, but so has our desire to work hard, serve others well, and honor the Lord in everything we do. After years of living in the city of Richmond and the suburbs of Short Pump, Virginia, we felt the Lord stirring something in our hearts for more space, more quiet, and a slower pace of life. What we didn’t expect was just how generously He would answer that prayer.
In March of 2025, after three showings in one morning, our fourth and final stop took our breath away. We rounded the bend of the driveway to see a wide-open pasture stretching across 19 acres, and the sweetest almost-new rancher tucked in the distance. We knew immediately we were home, and even spent time praying over the property after our realtor left the showing.
Two weeks after closing, we attended a local animal swap “just to look” and came home with two tiny Nigerian Dwarf goat kids in a dog crate in the back of our car, and absolutely no plan. That first night, dear friends showed up in the best way. One couple helped us build a goat house, another brought portable electric fencing, and we got our first real taste of small-town community. George and Lucy (the goats) spent their first weeks sleeping safely in our garage while Megan adjusted to full-time outdoor animals (city girl tendencies die hard and she wanted to keep them close and safe!). Our two young rescue pups didn’t know what to think of the new additions, but they eventually got used to each other!
Since then, we’ve built coops, pens, and shelters, welcomed chickens, geese, and guineas (RIP to most of the guineas), and continue learning every day. The Lord has used this land to continually teach us patience, stewardship, and gratitude.
We are incredibly thankful to build our life here, raise animals with care, and grow something meaningful, by God’s grace, one season at a time.
Thank you for supporting our local family farm!
